Receipts, without the paper.

Our mission is to remove paper receipts: less waste, and no more handling the chemical-coated slips that come out of the till.

Most receipts are printed on thermal paper, and many of those are coated with BPA or BPS, chemicals that can transfer to skin. Thermal paper is also hard to recycle, and most receipts are thrown away within minutes. Dockit gives customers their receipt on their phone instead.

How it works

1. At the till, the shop's existing system “prints” the receipt as normal.
2. A small display shows a QR code, and the same link can be tapped with NFC.
3. The customer scans or taps, and can view, save or download their receipt.

The shop doesn't change its point-of-sale system, and a paper copy is always available for customers who want one.

Each receipt has its own unguessable link and is deleted after 24 hours. No account, no app and no tracking. Read our privacy policy.
